After 6 months of prodding by a friend, Duckie Dickins dropped into Second Life in October of 2006 to see what it was all about. His friend immediately enrolled him in afternoon building course at one of the popular inworld schools at the time where he learned to build a bobbing for apples tub since the theme was Halloween. Seeing the endless potential of being able to create your own objects, he quickly left the MMO he had been playing and began exploring Second Life. His friend suggested that if he really wanted to bring his creations to life that he could take a scripting course and that he could sit in a camping chair every day to earn 35 Lindens each day to cover the cost of each session, so that's what he did. After completing the 7-day course he has been scripting gadgets and gizmos ever since.
His involvement with developing for a popular combat meter was what sparked his passion for creating fun and entertaining games for Second Life residents to participate in and joining up with the MadPea crew in 2019 was the ideal creative outlet he had been looking for.
