Farewell, SwagBag

SwagBag

THE END OF AN ERA

Going out on a high note: it’s the best ending we can think of for our monthly men’s mystery box SwagBag. After many successful months, it’s time to say goodbye to SwagBag to focus on other endeavors.

And so we have made the bittersweet decision to end SwagBag effective immediately.

While we have thoroughly enjoyed the experience of working with our talented SwagBag designers and bloggers and seeing our many loyal SwagBag buyers wearing Swag gear, we know we will bring you plenty to be excited about in the coming year. We will be refocusing the resources we’ve been devoting to SwagBag on new projects to spice up 2017.

GOODBYE, OLD FRIEND

Beginning today, SwagBag will no longer be available for new subscriptions at our mainstore or any kiosks. Those who did pre-order April’s box will be refunded.

HELLO, VINTAGE SWAG

Also beginning today, you’ll have the incredible opportunity to purchase all previous SwagBags at a discounted price of $2,000 each. This sale will run for just 30 days, ending on March 6th. After then no SwagBag will ever be sold again, so if there’s a box you’ve always had your eye on, don’t delay! SLURL: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Harms%20Way/80/165/1233

A GREAT BIG THANK YOU

Finally, we want to thank all of you SwagBag buyers, designers and bloggers who made SwagBag the most successful men’s mystery box on the grid. We’re taking all your excitement and feedback with us into our future projects.

I guess my question is like everybody elses.. why are you discontinuing the project. While it’s true you don’t “owe us” an explanation, residents like myself did support your project not only buy buying the bags but also by promoting it to other residents. A heartfelt goodbye is nice but an explanation would have been much better.
